New facility boosts storage, safety, and nationwide fuel distribution reach.

A new LPG terminal in Batangas is set to change how fuel is stored and moved across the Philippines.

Isla Group, the company behind Solane, has opened its largest and most advanced facility to date, the Isla Import Terminals Inc. in Barangay Libjo, Batangas City. The terminal is built to support more stable and efficient LPG supply chains as demand from households and industries continues to grow.

At its core, the facility serves as a key link between global supply and local distribution, helping keep LPG accessible to households, small food businesses, transport operators, and industries that rely on consistent fuel flow.

The project also brings together international and local partners, including Itochu Corporation and Magsaysay Shipping, strengthening both import capacity and nationwide logistics.

With enhanced safety systems and real-time monitoring technology, the terminal reinforces Solane’s push for reliability and tighter operational control across its network.

The addition of the Batangas facility strengthens the country’s ability to absorb supply pressures and keep energy moving through a system that underpins daily activity and business continuity nationwide.
