Award-winning filmmaker Jun Robles Lana is officially entering the prep phase for his next movie project.

To kickstart the production, the acclaimed director announced he is looking for a Director’s Assistant, offering a rare, hands-on mentorship opportunity for an aspiring creative to shadow him throughout the entire filmmaking process.

The role provides an exclusive, behind-the-scenes look into Lana’s creative pipeline, from handling scripts and research to managing the daily demands of an active film set.

Lana, who is widely known for nurturing fresh talent but can no longer run standard industry workshops, emphasized that hands-on training is a core element of the position. 

“Since you’ll be close to how I work, I also want to make it a chance to learn,” Lana shared in a tweet. “Think of the mentorship as part of the deal.”
