Iconic group rides reunion high with upbeat track for longtime fans and new generation.

The successful reunion of the SexBomb Girls continues as the iconic dance group gears up to release their new single, “Mama Mama,” on Aug. 7.

The upbeat track, highlighted by its catchy “Mama Mama” hook, delivers a message of encouragement, pride, and confidence for the generation that grew up with the group.

For Rochelle Pangilinan, the song is a heartfelt gift to their loyal fans.

“Ilang taon ang lumipas. Ilang dekada ang nagdaan. Nagkanya-kanya kami. Marami ang nagbago. Pero muli kaming nagsama-sama. Para sa inyo. Para sa amin. Para sa atin. Deserve n’yo ang regalong ito,” Rochelle said, adding the hashtag #MamaMama.

The single comes after the overwhelming success of the #SexBombGirls reunion concert at the Smart Araneta Coliseum last December, which expanded into additional shows and a world tour across Australia and the United States.

Rochelle previously revealed that the group has more projects in store for fans, including new music and a documentary series.

In an earlier interview with radar Entertainment, Rochelle shared that one of their biggest goals was to help bring opportunities back to the group’s members.

“Yes, ang goal ay mabigyan ng trabaho ang lahat ng girls. Hindi lingid sa kaalaman natin na nawalan din ng trabaho ang ilan sa amin sa loob ng ilang taon. Siyempre, ibang klaseng self-confidence rin ang naibigay sa kanila ng ganitong klaseng concert,” she said.

Aside from Rochelle, the group includes Jopay Paguia, Mia Pangyarihan, Aira Bermudez, Sunshine Garcia, Aifha Medina, Weng Ibarra, and more. The SexBomb Girls are best known for their hit songs “The Spaghetti Song” and “Halukay Ube.”
