sombr says he’s a ‘big fan’ of SB19

SB19 just added another name to its growing list of global fans—and this one happens to be the award-winning American artist sombr.

In an Instagram Story, Pamela “Meya” Cortez—sales and marketing director of 1Z Entertainment, SB19’s talent agency—shared a video of Stell meeting sombr.

After shaking hands, sombr tells Stell, “I’m a big fan of you guys.”

A smiling Stell then joins sombr for a photo, making for a wholesome little crossover between the two acts who both performed on Day 1 of Lollapalooza 2026.

The moment made its way to the Reddit community “r/ChikaPH,” where fans gushed over the interaction.

“Their interaction is so cute. 🫶🏼” one user said, while another reacted, “Omg Sombrrrrrr!!! 🥹”

SB19 and sombr took the Lollapalooza stage on July 30, performing on separate stages as the four-day music festival opened in Chicago.

The P-pop powerhouse made history as the first homegrown Filipino act to perform at Lollapalooza.

The group—Pablo, Josh, Stell, Ken, and Justin—also made the most of its Chicago trip before taking the festival stage, performing at the GRAMMY Museum’s Global Spin Live on July 28 and throwing the ceremonial first pitch at the Chicago White Sox vs. New York Yankees game on July 29.

SB19 will next head to Japan for Summer Sonic 2026, performing in Osaka on Aug. 14 and Tokyo on Aug. 15.

In October, the group will headline the KPOPWORLD Festival & Worldwide Dance Competition in San Antonio, Texas, alongside Jay Park, The Rose, Jessi, Dean & Tabber, Cravity, Xdinary Heroes, ARTMS, Heyoon, Wonho, and Dayoung.

sombr rose to fame with his breakout hit “back to friends,” followed by tracks such as “12 to 12,” “undressed,” and “Homewrecker.” He won Best Alternative Video at the 2025 MTV Video Music Awards and three awards at the 2026 American Music Awards. He was also nominated for Best New Artist at the 2026 Grammy Awards.
