BLOOMs call out “unnecessary” questions as P-pop tensions resurface; group reiterates closeness with BINI, cites ongoing legal cases.
BGYO’s guest appearance on “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda” sparked backlash from BLOOMs after the group was asked about fans who do not want them associated with fellow P-pop act BINI.
During the interview, BGYO was asked, “Anong reaction ng BGYO sa mga fans na ayaw silang i-associate sa BINI?” The group responded that everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but emphasized that they have been close with BINI since their trainee days.
“Kanya-kanya naman po ‘yang opinion. Pero kami po ng BINI, talagang close po kami since magkakasama po kami since Day One,” they said, adding that they are proud of BINI and the group’s success.
Member Akira also addressed tensions within the P-pop community, saying they remain optimistic that fan conflicts will eventually subside. He added that if issues continue to escalate, BGYO has platforms where they can explain their side and clarify misunderstandings.
The group also shared that they filed online libel cases in 2024 against individuals they accused of spreading false information about them. While they declined to discuss details, they confirmed that the cases are now before the court.
The interview quickly drew criticism from BLOOMs, many of whom questioned why the topic was brought up at all. Fans described the question as unnecessary and insensitive, especially amid ongoing concerns they have raised to management.
“Wala man lang nag-filter ng questions sainyo?” one fan wrote.
BLOOMs have long been vocal in calling out Star Magic and ABS-CBN executives, saying they appear more protective of BGYO than BINI.
Others argued that raising the issue only reignited tensions between the two fandoms instead of helping move the conversation forward.
“Meron kaming sentiments na gusto namin marinig niyo and instead na linawin sa amin, you all just keep piling it up. This is so disrespectful.”
