Mika Salamanca and Will Ashley face backlash as viral TikTok challenge sparks debate on influencer responsibility.

What started as a playful TikTok challenge quickly drew disappointment from netizens after Will Ashley and rumored girlfriend Mika Salamanca posted a video that many found inappropriate.

In the now-viral clip, the two played a word association game, saying the first word that came to mind based on a letter shown on screen.

Their answers, “s*so” and “f*kf*k,” raised eyebrows among online users, particularly because both have a substantial following among younger audiences. Some were especially surprised that Mika, a children’s book author, took part in the trend.

Criticisms grew sharper for the “Pinoy Big Brother: Collab” stars but supporters were quick to defend the pair, arguing that the words were not necessarily vulgar and that the meaning depended on how viewers interpreted them. “Hindi naman bastos ‘yan, bastos lang ang pag-iisip ng tao,” one commenter wrote.

As the video continues to circulate, Will and Mika remain at the center of an online debate over the responsibilities of public figures and the type of content they share with their audiences.

As of writing, neither Will nor Mika has issued a response regarding the criticism.
