Diesel rises ₱0.84/L and gasoline ₱1.65/L in the latest adjustment cycle, while kerosene also moves higher.
Pump prices tick up again starting 6AM on Tuesday, June 30, with diesel and gasoline posting fresh increases based on oil company advisories.
Shell Pilipinas Corp. and Seaoil Philippines Inc. separately announced the same adjustments, which include a ₱0.84 per liter increase for diesel, a ₱1.65 per liter increase for gasoline, and a ₱1.22 per liter increase for kerosene.
These adjustments reflect the upper end of the Department of Energy’s computation for the fuel price cycle, which had also projected possible rollbacks depending on Inc.final market movement.
Based on these changes, diesel is expected to average around ₱78.48 per liter after the increase, while gasoline is projected to rise to around ₱86.68 per liter.
The latest movement adds another upward adjustment in pump prices, following recent cycles of alternating increases and rollbacks in global oil markets.
