From furdates to microchips to communities—these apps cater to pets.

There’s no doubt about it: pets have become the youngest members of many Filipino households, regardless of their actual age. Some pets have even become their household’s babies—more than the actual youngest member of the family.

Whether it’s to find the best care for your pets or to find convenient hubs and communities, these five Filipino-made apps are a great starting point.

Pawkit

Launched in the Philippines last August 2025, Pawkit offers a connected pet care experience to assist in the day-to-day needs of furbabies.

Pawkit is driven by owner Dewani Marie Solo’s own relationship with animals and her perspective about pet ownership. “I knew I wasn’t yet in a position to provide the best life for a pet of my own, but I also knew I wanted to do something meaningful for animals and the people who love them,” Solo tells radar.

By connecting pet owners with trusted veterinarians, groomers, pet-friendly establishments, and reliable food and supply delivery services, Pawkit aims to simplify every aspect of responsible pet ownership. But beyond convenience, Pawkit is building an entire ecosystem of opportunity—a platform that doesn’t just serve pet owners but also uplifts communities.

But it does not stop there. As the company moves towards collaborations with welfare groups, it also looks forward to going beyond Philippine shores come 2026. Soon, Pawkit may be finding its way to neighboring Southeast Asian countries, starting with Thailand.

Pawkit is available on both the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store. Check out their highlights via their site: https://www.instagram.com/p/DPjJWkYjctj.

MommyKi

Need an all-in app for all your pet needs? Mommyki aims to provide this service in the form of a virtual community-dedicated app. Dubbing themselves as the “PAWrtner” in pet care for pet owners, Mommyki brings together a digital pet book, diary, reminder tool, and a community of suppliers for all pet care needs, all accessible via their mobile app.

Mommyki enables owners to register their pets, from the usual furbabies to a range of other pet companions, like reptiles, birds, and fishes.

Another interesting feature that you and your pet might benefit from? Digitized pet records. Since many consider their pets to be their furbabies, digitized records are the equivalent of medical and personal records. This is a great feature for those with a big paw-mily.

Unleash

First released in 2024 through a partnership between TechForce Solutions and ePLDT, Unleash’s mission was to create an app that carries everything for your pets. From e-commerce to pet care information and social networking, Unleash is the hub that puts both pets and paw-rents at the forefront.

After a year of operation, Unleash has expanded to add more features to its services. If there are playdates and playmates for babies, Unleash introduces a similar feature in the form of Meets. This feature allows your furbabies to meet “furriends” through paw-rents who are in your area. Not only can you set up furdates for your pet, but you might find fellow animal lovers, too!

Enjoying the app already? Unleash also has in-app rewards available, from dog treats to skincare gels for your pets.

Unleash is available for Android and Apple devices.

Pettr

As pet care evolves, so do the apps that provide service. Pettr, which was previously launched as the mobile app PetPal back at the start of 2024, continues the company’s goal of giving pets “their healthiest and happiest lives.”

Pettr offers tiered subscription services that offer teleconsultations, clinic bookings with partner clinics nationwide, and home visits and vaccinations care of trusted veterinarians.

The Pettr Shop is also a significant part of the brand, where pet parents can purchase a variety of goods, from cleaning essentials to furbaby supplements and pet food. Also, be on the lookout for some promos and vouchers.

Bonus: Petdentity

While Petdentity does not officially have an app, it is a web application that provides the first and only pet microchip service in the Philippines.

Founder Denis Reyes established Petdentity as a collaborative project with the Department of Agriculture—Bureau of Animal Industry, PhilAhis Department and various local government units, with the goal of rabies eradication through pet identification and tracking.

From pet owners to shelter houses to even government authorities, the database can be used and accessed for free. Its microchip component allows both identification of pet owners and their pets as well as record tracking. Petdentity also has a pet passport, which the company notes to be a tool for local and international pet travel.
