Before they were global icons, these four sisters from Santiago City practiced in a small room with nothing but a shared dream. Fast forward to today, they have rebranded five times, proving that while names change, their blood harmony is permanent.
From the local stages of It’s Showtime to the viral lights of London, the Cercado sisters have navigated a two-decade odyssey of reinvention to find their true voice as 4Sisters.
TRIVIA: What’s in a name? For Almira, Irene, Mylene, and Celina Cercado, it’s a whole journey of reinvention.
They first stepped into the spotlight in 2004 as the Cercado Sisters, performing as a young family act in local competitions and TV guestings. As they started gaining traction, they briefly rebranded as the Gollayan Sisters, a transition phase that saw them appearing on Philippine variety shows like It’s Showtime.
In 2011, they took a bold leap to the international stage as MICA on The X Factor UK. While their run was short, it opened global doors.
By 2012, they returned as 4th Power, a name that stuck through their rise across Asia—until their breakout moment in 2015, when they wowed audiences worldwide on The X Factor UK with viral performances and standing ovations.
A naming conflict led to another switch in 2017, this time to 4th Impact, which they carried through tours, original releases, and TV appearances both abroad and back home, including It’s Showtime.
