‘Dekada ‘70’ to screen at the MET Theater for free 

Relive a cinematic landmark.

This April 19, in honor of National Literature Month, Chito S. Roño’s “Dekada ’70” will be screening at the Manila Metropolitan Theatre. Ticket admission is for free and the screening will be at 2PM.

Originally based on Lualhati Bautista’s 1983 of the same name, the film adaptation follows a middle-class family navigating struggles across several years while living in the Martial Law era.

The movie stars Vilma Santos and Christopher De Leon as the parents of characters played by Piolo Pascual, Carlos Agassi, Marvin Agustin, Danilo Barrios, and John Wayne Sace.
