The 8-member group opens up about pride, pressure, and paving the way for Filipino artists worldwide.

BINI just had a red carpet moment that marks a major milestone in their career.

The 8-member Filipino girl group received the Global Force Award at the 2026 Billboard Women in Music Awards in Los Angeles and said they are still taking it all in.

During their acceptance speech, they reflected on their journey from becoming the first Filipino group to perform at Coachella to now standing alongside global artists on the red carpet.

BINI Colet shared: “Standing here tonight is something we BINI could only dream about.”

They emphasized the weight of the recognition and what it means for them as artists representing the Philippines. “We are deeply honored to be given a chance to represent Filipino music and artists back home,” Colet said, adding that the moment comes with both pride and responsibility.

BINI Jhoanna added: “We accept this award not just as BINI, but more importantly, as proud Filipinas.”

The group, also composed of members Aiah, Colet, Maloi, Gwen, Stacey, Mikha, Jhoanna, and Sheena, admitted they were starstruck meeting some of the artists in attendance. Colet added: “We can’t believe we’re in the same room and breathing the same air.” During their red carpet interview, Jhoanna said the award is a reminder that they can stand on any stage and that they hope to help open doors for more Filipino artists.

The group also thanked their families, BLOOMs, and ABS-CBN, saying the recognition is as much for them as it is for BINI.

From Coachella to Billboard’s Global Force stage, BINI says this moment is not just a milestone, but a responsibility they carry forward.
