Under the FDCP Special Partnership Program, selected films gain access to cinematheque screenings, JuanFlix exposure, and international missions.
The Puregold CinePanalo Film Festival has entered into a collaboration with the Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP) under the agency’s Special Partnership Program (SPP), expanding professional and international opportunities for filmmakers participating in Puregold CinePanalo 2026.
Through the partnership, selected filmmakers will gain access to FDCP-supported platforms, including screenings at FDCP Cinematheque Centres, visibility on JuanFlix: The FDCP Channel, and potential inclusion in FDCP international mission delegations.
The initiative is aimed at increasing exposure for Filipino films and connecting filmmakers to broader local and global industry networks.

FDCP chair and CEO Jose Javier Reyes said CinePanalo has quickly emerged as an important venue for discovering new voices in Philippine cinema. “Even though it has just been on for a number of years, right now, CinePanalo has proven itself to be an important venue for the development of the voice of Philippine cinema,” Reyes said. “It is in CinePanalo that we are able to discover the next generation of Filipino filmmakers.”
Puregold senior marketing manager Ivy Hayagan-Piedad highlighted the festival’s role in supporting local creatives. “This festival is about giving our very own filmmakers a platform where their creative abilities can be fully recognized,” she said, noting that the collaboration with the FDCP opens more opportunities for development, exposure, and international reach.
Now in its third year, the Puregold CinePanalo Film Festival continues to build on its “Panalo sa Husay” advocacy by partnering with institutions that support film development and distribution. The collaboration with the FDCP strengthens the festival’s efforts to showcase Filipino stories while helping filmmakers expand their reach beyond local audiences.
Puregold CinePanalo 2026 will be held at Gateway Cineplex 18 and select Ayala Cinemas in Metro Manila. The festival will feature seven full-length films and 20 student short films.
