Jillian Ward joins the Clash Panel of “The Clash Teens.”
From playing iconic child roles to becoming one of her generation’s rising multi-hyphenate stars, Jillian Ward is entering a new era in her career—this time as a mentor.
The actress-singer has officially joined the “Clash Panel of The Clash Teens” alongside JL of BGYO and Christian Bautista, forming a fresh lineup set to guide aspiring young performers in the competition.
For many viewers, Ward’s latest role feels like a full-circle moment. Once affectionately known as “Trudis Liit” during her early years in showbiz, the former child actress is now stepping into a role where she can inspire a younger generation navigating the same dreams she once had herself.
From child star to mentor
While acting has long been part of her identity, Ward admitted that singing became her personal escape from constantly portraying different characters onscreen. Through music, she found a space where she could simply be herself.
“Buong buhay ko kasi umaarte na po ako, so parte na siya ng paghinga ko talaga. I think sa pagkanta mas nae-express ko ‘yong sarili ko bilang si Jillian, hindi siya karakter,” she shared.
That deeper connection to music became more visible through her viral Beyoncé-inspired performances online and her pop single “Pumapag-ibig,” which she proudly co-wrote.
As she continues to evolve beyond the child-star image many grew up with, Ward now enters a chapter where her voice, both literally and creatively, takes center stage.
Buong buhay ko kasi umaarte na po ako, so parte na siya ng paghinga ko talaga. I think sa pagkanta mas nae-express ko ‘yong sarili ko bilang si Jillian, hindi siya karakter.
