Ena Mori brings dreamy indie-pop to Japan stage at Summer Sonic 2026, joining SB19, BINI, and other rising global acts.

Filipina indie-pop artist Ena Mori is heading back to her roots as she officially joins the lineup of Summer Sonic 2026.

The half-Japanese singer-songwriter, who was born in Japan but relocated to the Philippines when she was 15, is set to perform on August 14 at Makuhari Messe—a full-circle moment for an artist whose music has slowly been gaining attention within the Japanese music scene.

Known for her dreamy synth-pop sound, emotionally vulnerable lyrics, and cinematic production, Ena Mori has built a reputation as one of the Philippines’ most distinct indie voices. Her songs feel soft yet haunting, blending nostalgia and heartbreak into tracks that resonate deeply with listeners navigating growing pains, loneliness, and quiet longing.

While fellow Filipino acts SB19 and BINI are also part of the festival lineup, Ena’s inclusion stands out as a reflection of how Filipino indie music continues crossing borders.

For fans, seeing her perform in Japan does not just feel like another international booking, it feels like an artist returning home, this time with a sound the world is finally starting to hear.
