Joshua Garcia and Ivana Alawi’s “Love Is Never Gone” enters Prime Video’s Top 10 Filipino series as the actor shares his excitement over the project’s strong reception and his return to action.
Joshua Garcia, who stars in the Prime Video series “Love Is Never Gone” alongside Ivana Alawi, stressed that while he is excited about landing the lead role, he could not emphasize enough the collective effort behind the project.
“I’m really excited, hindi lang para sa akin, but for everyone—sa mga cast members ko. Kasi hindi lang ako ang naghirap dito,” Joshua said, highlighting the hard work of the entire cast.
After officially premiering on May 11, with advance episodes released on May 8, the series continues to receive praise as it enters the Top 10 Filipino series on Prime Video.
The actor also shared what audiences can look forward to, noting that the project features a strong ensemble of rising stars and veteran actors, adding depth and experience to the production.
In spite of his enthusiasm, Joshua acknowledged the physical demands of the action-packed series, even openly expressing admiration for seasoned action stars. “Nandito naman ako, pagod mag-action. So, salute na sa mga action stars ng Pilipinas,” he added.
“Every time I return to action, I really enjoy it. And I wouldn’t go back to it if I didn’t enjoy it,” he shared.
The series opens with Teo and Yana’s fateful encounter after Yana steals Teo’s wallet, leading to an unlikely bond between the two as they discover each other’s tragic pasts.
The story takes an unexpected turn when Yana’s ties to a crime syndicate lead to Teo’s wrongful imprisonment. Years later, Teo crosses paths once again with Yana, whom he believed had died following their police chase in Morocco, but this time under a new identity: Gem Verona, the wife of a wealthy and powerful attorney.
The series also explores Teo’s life after his release from prison, with the help of his ex-girlfriend Larejean, played by Jane Oineza.
