A major shake-up leads to a fresh start as Calista signs with a new management company.

A new chapter is unfolding for all-female P-pop group Calista.

Following their departure from their former management company, Merlion Entertainment, the group has officially signed with Wide International Entertainment, marking a fresh start in their evolving career.

The transition comes after Merlion Entertainment announced on social media that its professional relationship with the group had officially ended effective June 1.

“We are grateful for the memories and milestones we shared together throughout the years. We sincerely thank Anne Tenorio, Dain Leones, Denise Pello, and Elle Pascual for their dedication,” the company said in a statement.

“As they embark on a new chapter, we wish them nothing but success, growth, and happiness in all their future endeavors,” it added.

The management change arrives at a significant moment for the group. Anne, Elle, Denise, and Dain recently represented the Philippines while supporting the film “I Fell, It’s Fine” during an international festival in Thailand on June 5, 2026, highlighting the group’s growing presence beyond the local music scene.

Formed in 2021, Calista originally debuted as a six-member act composed of Anne, Olive, Dain, Denise, Elle, and Laiza. Over the years, the group evolved into a four-member lineup consisting of Anne Tenorio, Dain Leones, Denise Pello, and Elle Pascual.

Despite the changes, the quartet continues to strengthen its place in the P-pop industry through its music and international engagements. Among the group’s notable releases are the singles “Race Car” and “Ugnayan,” songs that helped introduce their vibrant sound to a growing fan base.

Calista is poised to begin an exciting new phase in its journey as one of the country’s rising P-pop acts.
