Miss Universe Philippines 2026 queen highlights unity, compassion, and shared Filipino identity.
In celebration of Philippine Independence Day, reigning Miss Universe Philippines 2026 Bea Millan-Windorski shared a heartfelt message highlighting unity, compassion, and what it truly means to be Filipino.
Taking to social media, Bea greeted the nation with, “Maligayang Araw ng Kasarinlan, mahal kong Pilipinas,” before reflecting on the values that bind Filipinos together.
“In a time where so much divides us, let us remember that Filipino identity is not defined by borders or bloodlines. It is defined by pakikipagkapwa, the recognition that we are brothers, sisters, and neighbors,” she wrote. “We are bound by the same joys and sorrows, the same aspirations and hopes.”
She also pointed to the significance of love as a guiding principle in nation-building, saying, “The 1987 Konstitusyon ng Republika ng Pilipinas is the only constitution in the world to contain the word ‘love.’ Our Pambansang Bayani wanted us to recognize that there is no higher order than love, and that everyone becomes a hero when we work together for one common cause.”
A Filipina-American beauty queen, Bea is set to represent the Philippines at this year’s Miss Universe competition in Puerto Rico this November, where she will aim to bring home the country’s fifth Miss Universe crown.
