DigiPlus ties growth plans to player protection and social impact

DigiPlus Interactive Corp. is putting a bigger spotlight on how it wants to grow and what that growth should deliver beyond revenue.

The company has officially launched its “Entertainment for Good” framework, a long-term strategy that ties business expansion to player protection, technology investments, community programs, and stronger corporate governance. Behind some of the country’s biggest online entertainment platforms, including BingoPlus, ArenaPlus, and GameZone, DigiPlus is making the case that growth should come with clear safeguards and measurable social impact.

The framework places responsible gaming at the center of the company’s operations. Players have access to enhanced responsible gaming tools, 24/7 customer support, financial protection measures such as DigiPlus’ surety bond program, and resources designed to encourage safer and more balanced play. The company has also continued educational initiatives aimed at helping users make informed decisions while engaging with its platforms.

Aside from player protection, DigiPlus is also investing in products and partnerships designed to expand its entertainment ecosystem. Recent initiatives include the launch of Pinoy Drop Ball Turbo on BingoPlus, an expanded lineup of locally developed games, and a partnership that made ArenaPlus the NBA’s official partner in the Philippines. The company also tapped boxing icon Manny Pacquiao as a brand ambassador and collaborator for co-branded games across its platforms.

The strategy extends beyond entertainment. Through the DigiPlus Foundation, the company spent ₱84 million on programs that benefited nearly 1 million Filipinos in 2025. Recent initiatives included support for youth robotics competitions through a partnership with the Department of Information and Communications Technology, donations of disaster-response equipment to the City of Manila, and more than ₱1.2 million in relief assistance for communities affected by the recent Southern Mindanao earthquake.

DigiPlus is also strengthening oversight and accountability as part of the framework. Recent steps include integrating the ArenaPlus sportsbook with Sportradar’s Integrity Exchange, a global network that helps detect suspicious betting activity in real time, and publishing its 2025 Integrated Report ahead of the next reporting cycle.

Online entertainment now reaches millions of Filipinos every day, making trust, consumer protection, and accountability increasingly important. Through its “Entertainment for Good” framework, DigiPlus is positioning those priorities alongside growth, arguing that business success should be measured not only by scale, but also by the value created for players, communities, and the broader economy.
