Kris Aquino lauds Bimby’s ‘Eat Bulaga’ hosting, honors brother PNoy on his birthday with heartfelt tribute.
“Proud mother moments.”
This is how former TV host Kris Aquino described her son Bimby Aquino Yap’s stint as a guest host on the noontime show Eat Bulaga.
On social media, Kris acknowledged the positive comments she received online and described her son as “laking studio.”
“Thank you for your encouraging comments about Bimb’s hosting on ‘Eat Bulaga.’ He’s a natural because from the time he was born, ‘laking studio’ na siya. He has done major endorsements since he was 4 months old and has been my co-host for the summer episodes of ‘Kris TV,’” she shared.
Kris also remembered her brother, former president Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III, as she marked the fifth anniversary of his passing. She said Bimby may have inherited his late uncle’s strong work ethic and ability to connect with people.
“Thank you for praising him for being humble and marunong makisama. Tito Noy was a great example. Happy 5th anniversary in heaven, Noy. Kuya Josh, Bimb, and I love you,” she added.
Despite stepping back from social media, the Philippines’ “Queen of All Media” has remained open about her health struggles in recent years, frequently updating supporters on her treatments and recovery.
Although she has been less active in the public eye, many fans continue to await her comeback. During her 55th birthday last February, Aquino announced plans to return to the spotlight by launching a podcast after battling multiple autoimmune conditions in recent years.
