Kris Aquino considers guest hosting as son Bimby Yap continues “Eat Bulaga” co-host stint.
Queen of All Media Kris Aquino made a surprise appearance on Eat Bulaga on Thursday, personally visiting her son, Bimby Aquino Yap, who is currently serving as a guest co-host on the noontime show.
During the episode, Kris briefly appeared on air and playfully teased Ryzza Mae Dizon.
“Mag-kiss ka sa future mother-in-law mo,” she told Ryzza Mae while giving her a hug. Ryzza responded with an affectionate, “I love you.”
Kris also complimented the young television host, saying, “Ang laki ng ginanda mo. I think dahil may nagpapaganda sa’yo.”
Showing her trademark humor, Kris shared that she still helps choose Bimby’s outfits.
“Ako ang wardrobe niya, so no’ng nakita ko na may letter R, binili ko agad,” she joked.
The surprise appearance also fueled speculation about Aquino’s long-awaited return to television. During the show, she hinted at the possibility of guest hosting in the future.
“Can I guest host next time?” Kris asked the live audience.
The crowd responded enthusiastically, prompting Bimby to ask, “Ano, Dabarkads, guest host na si Mama next time?” The audience answered with loud cheers and applause.
Despite stepping away from the spotlight in recent years, Kris has remained open about her ongoing health battle, regularly updating supporters on her treatments and recovery.
While maintaining a lower public profile, many fans continue to anticipate her comeback. During her 55th birthday celebration in February, Aquino revealed plans to return to the entertainment industry through a podcast, marking a new chapter after years of battling multiple autoimmune conditions.
