Jeremiah Rosales, brother of A-list actor Jericho Rosales, left home without notice and traveled to their family’s residence in Bicol in an apparent attempt to avoid returning to a rehabilitation facility for drug abuse, according to his daughter, Liana.

New details about Jeremiah’s brief disappearance have emerged after Liana spoke about the family’s ordeal and the events leading up to his sudden departure.

Jeremiah was initially reported missing after failing to return home, prompting his wife, Jhen Go, to seek public assistance in locating him. The situation raised concern among family, friends, and supporters until he was eventually found safe, bringing relief to his loved ones.

“On June 26, Jericho confirmed the development through his official Facebook page, assuring the public that his brother had been reunited with their family in Bicol province.

“Hello everyone. Thank you for your concern. Jeremiah, my brother, is not missing. He is safe and is with our family in the province. God bless you all,” the actor wrote.

Subsequent reports revealed that Jeremiah had been undergoing treatment at a private rehabilitation facility in Pasig City, with Jericho reportedly covering the cost of his care. However, he left the center before completing the yearlong program, telling his family that he no longer needed treatment.

In Jojo Gabinete’s “Cabinet Files” column, Liana, a VMX contract artist and the second of Jeremiah and Jhen’s four children, admitted she was shocked upon learning that her father had managed to leave the facility and travel to Bicol.

“Nagulat po ako dahil hindi ko expected na matatakasan niya ‘yong rehab,” she said.

The family also confirmed that Jeremiah has been battling illegal drug addiction. In a separate online report, Go disclosed that he had relapsed and was scheduled to return to the rehabilitation facility before leaving home on June 21—an incident that prompted the concern leading to his being reported missing.
