Heritage Hotel rebrands as Millennium Heritage as SEC acknowledges name change

The 467-room Pasay hotel is aligning its corporate identity with the Millennium branding already used for its premium rooms and membership club.

The Heritage Hotel in Pasay City is set to rebrand as the Millennium Heritage Hotel, potentially signaling a new era for the hospitality fixture.

The Securities and Exchange Commission has already acknowledged the name change in the operating company’s corporate documents, according to a July 24 disclosure submitted to the Philippine Stock Exchange.

Grand Plaza Hotel Corp., which operates the hotel, had the name change approved by stockholders on July 10, 2026. The company amended Article I of its Articles of Incorporation, which pertains to the company’s business or trade name.

Heritage Hotel positions itself as a “deluxe class” hotel with 467 rooms, primarily catering to foreign guests who frequent the Manila Bay area for entertainment and business engagements. The hotel first opened in 1994 and houses a casino, restaurants, and ballrooms.

Most commuters use the hotel as a transportation checkpoint due to its proximity to the Roxas Boulevard EDSA Carousel station and jeepneys that ply the seaside boulevard.

The hotel already uses the “Millennium” branding for its premium rooms and membership club, making the corporate name change consistent with its existing branding.
