Volleyball superstar and Creamline Cool Smashers captain Alyssa Valdez has publicly confirmed her relationship with businessman Ian Umali—proudly introducing him as her boyfriend in a birthday video filled with love, laughter, and well wishes from her family and closest friends.
In a July 24 Instagram Reel, Alyssa took on the role of interviewer, asking her loved ones what they hoped or wanted to manifest for her in the coming year.
Several of her friends, including Samantha Bernardo and Angelica Panganiban, playfully wished that she would finally become a bride this year, hinting at a possible proposal and joking about seeing her wear a ring every day.
One of the sweetest moments came when Alyssa warmly referred to Ian as “my boyfriend,” delighting fans who had been curious about their relationship.
Ian also said he and Alyssa are looking forward to achieving bigger milestones together.
“We just had meetings about it this year, di ba? So, we’re planning something big, something to organize and be intentional about what she wants to do in the future,” he said, before kissing Alyssa on the cheek.
