“Drag Race Philippines” star says she’s seeking professional help, vows to heal and return stronger to drag, music, and fashion.

Following her announcement of an indefinite hiatus from drag performances and public appearances, M1ss Jade So has shared a hopeful update, assuring fans that she is now taking serious steps toward healing and recovery.

In a heartfelt social media post on Saturday, the “Drag Race Philippines” Season 2 star revealed that she is surrounded by the unwavering love of her family, friends, and supporters while receiving professional help for her mental health.

“Music will heal me, and will always heal us,” she wrote.

Jade shared that she is currently undergoing therapy with psychologists as she works through the challenges that affected her well-being.

“I’m also seeking help with psychologists for my mental health… I need to learn life after downfall, appreciate life even if I already achieved my goals, and continue dreaming and aiming for the pinnacle,” she said.

Reflecting on her journey, Jade admitted that she never expected to experience this chapter in her life but now sees it as an opportunity for growth.

“I did not see this coming, but I need to acknowledge that this stage of life happened to me in order to continue life for the better,” she shared.

The drag performer also vowed to protect her peace moving forward, saying she is learning to stand her ground and surround herself with people she can truly trust.

Despite the challenges, Jade reaffirmed that her passion for art remains stronger than ever.

“Art was always the thing that I fell in love with, not the money. If this stage of life will be the reason for losing work with brands and bars, then so be it. I know warehouses, theaters, arenas, stadiums and fields are waiting for me someday,” she said.

She likewise expressed heartfelt gratitude to everyone who reached out with messages of love and encouragement, saying their support helped lift her spirit during one of the most difficult moments of her life.

Ending her message on a positive note, Jade said she is committed to making a full recovery before returning to the stage.

“I am taking serious steps to fully recover so that I can proudly say and embody, ‘I am strong coming back to drag, music & fashion.’”

Earlier, the family and Haus of M1ss Jade So announced that the drag artist would be taking an indefinite break following a recent livestream that raised concern among fans, fellow performers, and loved ones.

In a joint statement, they confirmed that Jade is safe and receiving the care she needs while asking the public to respect her privacy and refrain from sharing recordings of the livestream.

Her team also emphasized that Jade was in an “extremely vulnerable and overwhelmed state” during the broadcast and urged supporters not to direct blame or criticism toward other drag artists over the incident as she continues her recovery.
