Could a full-fledged Hashtags comeback be on the horizon?
Fans were sent into a frenzy after Hashtag member Kid Yambao shared reunion photos of the former “It’s Showtime” boy group on Instagram with the simple but intriguing caption: “#IbalikKayaNatin.”
The post came just days after the group’s surprise reunion at fellow Hashtag Wilbert Ross’ sold-out “WRten By” 10th anniversary solo concert at the New Frontier Theater on July 26.
For one night, the stage was once again filled with familiar faces as Jameson Blake, Nikko Natividad, Zeus Collins, Jimboy Martin, Kid Yambao, Maru Delgado, Luke Conde, Ryle Santiago, Jon Lucas, Tom Doromal, and Wilbert performed together, delighting longtime supporters of the dance group that rose to fame on “It’s Showtime.”
Former member Paulo Angeles also made a surprise appearance during the concert’s banter segment, although he did not join the performance.
Kid’s caption immediately fueled speculation that the reunion may not be a one-time event, with fans flooding the comments section hoping for an official comeback, new music, or another live performance featuring the complete lineup.
The emotional reunion marked the first time in almost seven years that most of the members had shared the stage together, making it one of the biggest highlights of Wilbert’s milestone concert.
