Beauty Gonzalez says daughter Olivia ‘owned it’ during her first runway walk

“First Walk,” Beauty began. “First time on the Runway for our not so little 10-year-old, and we couldn’t be prouder.”

For the actress, however, seeing Olivia confidently walk the runway was only part of what made the moment special.

Beauty said she was equally proud of how her daughter handled herself throughout the production—from listening to instructions and meeting new people to navigating the emotional highs and lows that come with putting yourself in front of an audience.

“It’s not only the happiness of seeing her gorgeousness strutting down the ramp, it’s more how she handled herself before, during and after the production, watching her take instructions, making new friends, navigating the highs and lows of putting yourself out there for the world to see,” she shared about the runway event organized by the Philippine Cancer Society.

Beauty also acknowledged that such an experience can be an emotional roller coaster for a young girl, but Olivia managed to embrace the challenge and carry herself with confidence.

“It’s quite a roller-coaster of emotions as you can imagine for a young lady to handle. But she owned it, did her thing … And today, back to school as if nothing happened,” she added.

Adding a playful touch to her proud-mom post, Beauty described how naturally Olivia appeared to carry the attention that came with her runway debut.

“It’s an idle Wednesday morning, and the limelight glows easy on her shoulders,” the actress quipped.

Olivia is the only daughter of Beauty and art curator Norman Crisologo. Beauty welcomed Olivia Ines in February 2016 before marrying Norman in a garden ceremony in Tagaytay on May 6, 2017.
