The American-style grill will close its Bonifacio High Street branch on October 18 after nearly two decades in the business district.
Wild West Roadhouse Grill, a longtime favorite at Bonifacio Global City, will mark its last day on October 18 after nearly 20 years in the business district.
The restaurant announced its permanent closure in a Facebook post on October 6. It did not disclose a reason for the shutdown.
“After October 18th, Wild West Roadhouse will be closing its doors permanently. We’d love nothing more than to see you one last time before we close. Come see us one more time. Let’s make the final chapter one to remember,” read the post.
The American-style grill opened in 2007 under the name Texas Roadhouse Grill. It rebranded to Wild West Roadhouse Grill in 2014, ahead of the entry of the U.S.-based Texas Roadhouse chain in 2016.
Aside from its flagship Bonifacio High Street branch, the restaurant also had branches in El Pueblo, Pasig, and Shangri-La Plaza in Mandaluyong, both of which closed in previous years.
Fans mourned both the restaurant and the version of BGC that it represented. Wild West Roadhouse Grill opened at a time when much of the area was still made up of open grassy fields. Skyscrapers and malls had yet to litter the skyline, and the largest, if only, commercial development was the now-defunct The Fort Strip.
