Claims highlight growing doubts over whether delivery records are being falsified to hide skipped attempts.

J&T Express is facing new complaints over alleged delivery practices in which riders call recipients without speaking, raising concerns that such calls may be used to justify failed deliveries or rescheduled parcels.

In a Facebook post, content creator Adam Domingo, better known as Panginoon ng Kababawan, said a J&T rider had done this to him twice in two weeks. He recounted an incident in which the rider called at 9:47 p.m. and remained silent for about three minutes before the recipient ended the call. The rider then called again and immediately hung up.

The post drew comments from users who claimed similar experiences, with some alleging that riders make brief or silent calls to create a record of attempted contact before marking recipients as unreachable or indicating that they requested a reschedule.

Similar complaints have appeared online, including one from a customer who said a J&T parcel was repeatedly marked undeliverable because the recipient was supposedly unreachable, despite reporting no actual delivery contact.

Another post described a silent call followed by a failed-delivery status. These accounts remain individual allegations.

The complaints raise concerns about whether delivery records accurately reflect customer interactions, particularly when a failed attempt can delay a parcel or lead to its return to the seller.

If left unaddressed, such practices could leave recipients waiting longer for their parcels, force them to rearrange delivery schedules, or result in shipments being returned to sellers despite their willingness to receive them, adding delays and uncertainty for both customers and sellers.
