“Tatay, wala nang nagawa sa dance move ng anak,” the viral video’s text overlay read.
A young boy is winning hearts online with dance moves full of lambot and pitik, turning an ordinary moment at home into a delightful little performance that has viewers smiling.
The video—posted on Oct. 13 by his content creator mother—shows the child twirling a baton, showing off his footwork, and adding a few gyrations in what appears to be a majorette-style performance.
Seated at the back and facing a computer, his father can be seen catching glimpses of the performance as the boy carries on with his kendeng and kembot.
The video’s text overlay adds a playful touch: “Tatay Wala Ng nagawa sa dance move Ng anak.” While the caption teases the father about his son’s moves, the video alone does not reveal what he thinks of the performance.
The clip has since drawn around 103,000 reactions, 4,900 comments, and 4,700 shares.
And the boy has more than one routine up his sleeve. Other videos show him bringing the same energy while carrying a flag, a basketball, and even a walis tambo. He also does a pasarela-like walk and dances to budots.
Beyond his solo performances, videos of the family livestreaming together capture plenty of kulitan between the boy and his parents, offering a glimpse of their lively and playful family dynamic.
