Actress Aiko Melendez and talent manager Ogie Diaz are going their separate ways professionally, ending their manager-talent relationship while maintaining their friendship.
Melendez announced the development in a social media post, saying she and Diaz had reached a “crossroads” in their business relationship and decided to take separate paths.
“My manager Ogie Diaz and I have reached a crossroads in our business life, and we have chosen to take separate roads,” Melendez wrote.
Despite the professional split, the actress stressed that there is no bad blood between them.
“Though one thing remains unchanged, we are still good friends. I deeply value the friendship we have built through the years,” she added.
Melendez also expressed her gratitude to Diaz for their years together, emphasizing that their personal bond remains intact despite the end of their professional partnership.
“Always grateful Ogie, for the friendship, trust, and memories we’ve shared and will share,” she said.
She ended her message on an affectionate note: “Mahal pa din kita alam mo yan mader.”
Melendez did not disclose what prompted the decision or reveal details about her next move in terms of management.
The announcement marks the end of their professional partnership, but not the friendship they built along the way.
