Aiko Melendez proud as daughter Martheena Jickain spends first paycheck on her

“Today was extra special,” Aiko wrote in her caption. “My daughter, @/marthena.jickain, received her very first paycheck and instead of spending it all on herself, she insisted on treating me to a late lunch.”

The actress said the simple celebration became a memorable experience for both of them as they spent time catching up and sharing stories.

“Thank you, Mimi. More than the meal, it was the time we spent together that meant everything to me. Our endless kwentuhan, laughter, sharing dreams, and talking about life are moments I will always treasure,” she shared.

Aiko also expressed how fulfilling it is for a mother to see her child grow, work hard, and find her own path while remembering those who supported her along the way.

“As a mother, there’s nothing more fulfilling than seeing your child earn through hard work, discover her own path, and still remember to give back with such a thoughtful gesture,” she said.

For Aiko, the value of the gesture was never measured by the amount spent, but by the love and appreciation behind it.

“It’s never about how much was spent; it’s the love, gratitude, and heart behind it that make it priceless,” she added.

The actress ended her message by reminding Marthena to remain humble and hardworking as she builds her career.
