Jessica Sanchez reveals the challenges and joys of motherhood while preparing for her upcoming Philippines concert.

Winning “America’s Got Talent Season 20” was a life-changing moment for #JessicaSanchez, but becoming a mom may have changed her even more.

Five months after giving birth to daughter Eliana, the powerhouse singer proudly showed Radar Entertainment her “chunky, breastfed baby” during a Zoom interview and opened up about her journey into motherhood.

Sanchez, who was nine months pregnant when she won the competition, says she’s now a passionate advocate for breastfeeding, even if the road hasn’t been easy.

“The first two months were extremely difficult,” she shared. “My body has never gone through anything like this before. But just like with my singing career, I kept going and kept fighting.”

Today, the singer says she feels more comfortable in her body than ever. “My baby is healthy and she’s a chunky girl,” Sanchez said with a smile. “She’s a breastfed baby right here. She is so loved.”

Finding her rhythm as a mom

She admitted that the process required determination, and a little help. A doula guided her through the early weeks, while travel made things even more challenging. During a recent trip to the Philippines for New Year’s celebrations, Sanchez had to juggle breastfeeding with pumping. “Pumping is not my favorite,” she laughed.

Still, the singer is determined to continue breastfeeding “for as long as I can.”

And yes—baby Eliana is already preparing for her first big tour stop. When Sanchez returns to the Philippines for “Seasons: The Jessica Sanchez PH Homecoming Concert” on May 16 at the Araneta Coliseum, her daughter will be coming along for the ride.

From the AGT stage to motherhood, Sanchez proves she’s hitting powerful new notes, both onstage and at home.
