The TV host’s political posts spark debate, with netizens urging her to hold friends accountable, too.

TV host Bianca Gonzalez Intal drew mixed reactions online after sharing her frustrations with the country’s political climate, particularly ongoing tensions in the Senate.

On X, Bianca wrote: “Ang gusto lang naman ng mga Pilipino ay mapagaan ang buhay, na ang buwis na kinakaltas sa araw-araw at sa sweldo ay maibalik sa paraan ng serbisyong pampubliko.”

She also questioned what needs to happen for the country to finally have “sistema’t liderato na tunay na para sa tao.”

While many users agreed with her sentiments, others criticized the host, accusing her of selectively calling out issues while remaining close to personalities with opposing political ties.

One netizen commented, “Bianca, ‘di ka ba napapagod na ang dami mong kuda pero ‘yong mga malalapit sa’yo, you can’t even hold to account?”—referring to Bianca’s continued friendship with fellow celebrities Mariel Rodriguez Padilla and Toni Gonzaga.

Mariel is the wife of Sen. Robin Padilla, while Gonzaga and her family are known supporters of President Bongbong Marcos.

As criticism grew, Bianca clarified, “hindi ako kaaway,” seemingly addressing accusations from users who questioned her stance and relationships with fellow celebrities.

The discussion quickly gained traction online, reigniting conversations about accountability, political discourse, and whether public figures should also address the actions and beliefs of those within their own circles.
