Big Gold Belt Media praises “A Parallel World” for anchoring the film’s core themes.
BINI is earning international attention as their song “A Parallel World” was singled out by Big Gold Belt Media as one of the emotional centerpieces of DreamWorks’ “Forgotten Island.”
Following an advanced screening of the film, Big Gold Belt editor and founder Nagier Chambers praised the movie’s use of music, particularly highlighting BINI’s track for how closely it connects with the story.
“BINI’s ‘A Parallel World,’ produced by Nathan Matthew David and Shawn Wasabi, is one of the film’s emotional centerpieces,” Chambers said.
Rather than functioning as a standalone soundtrack addition, Chambers noted that the song strengthens the film’s themes of friendship, separation, identity, and the fear of losing something that helped define you.
He further described music in “Forgotten Island” as “one of the strongest parts of the movie,” saying it serves as a bridge between generations, home and fantasy, and the characters Jo and Raissa’s present selves and the memories they are trying to preserve.
The recognition places BINI’s music at the heart of the film’s emotional storytelling, with “A Parallel World” being praised not simply for its sound, but for how it carries the story’s weight, he pointed out.
“A Parallel World” is the official soundtrack single for “Forgotten Island,” having recently surpassed 2 million streams on Spotify as of September 2026.
