Fans decode lyrics as RAMONA resurfaces, fueling speculation over viral “dasal” and “laundry” callbacks linked to Ricci Rivero.

RAMONA, the musical alter ego of actress Andrea Brillantes, has once again stirred online speculation after posting a TikTok video featuring her single “Laguna,” with fans believing several lyrics allude to her ex-boyfriend, basketball player Ricci Rivero.

Released in May 2026, “Laguna” is an upbeat, non-traditional breakup song that explores the complexities of modern relationships. In the video, one line caught the attention of followers after RAMONA jokingly mimicked praying against a wall—a move many linked to Rivero’s viral clip of him praying while facing a wall following a heated basketball game.

The lyric goes: “Kung ’di baka magwala, magsa-sadboi na naman… O baka, ipagdasal niya pa.”

Fans also zeroed in on the line, “La la la la ba,” which some interpreted as a callback to the viral “laundry issue” involving Rivero. In 2023, Brillantes herself fueled the buzz during an interview when she quipped, “Talaga ba? Iiyakan ko ’yung taong hindi nagpapa-laundry nang isang taon?” Rivero, however, denied the allegation that same year.

“Dasal pa lang, kilala na agad eh,” one netizen joked, while another wrote, “Loving the reference. #IpagdasalAngLabada.”

As of writing, Ricci Rivero has yet to issue a statement on the speculation, while RAMONA has not confirmed whether “Laguna” was written about her former partner or anyone in particular.
