PAL’s in-flight entertainment gets eight of the director’s movies available on board.

If Philippine Airlines had a favorite filmmaker, Antoinette “Tonet” Jadaone might have a strong case.

One netizen recently took to X to point out the unusually stacked Jadaone collection on PAL’s in-flight entertainment, writing: “Grabe ‘yong Antoinette Jadaone collection sa PAL in-flight entertainment!”

And honestly, the lineup makes the obsession understandable.

Passengers can find several of Jadaone’s films, from her first feature “Six Degrees of Separation from Lilia Cuntapay” to her latest release “Sunshine.” Also included are fan-favorite titles such as “That Thing Called Tadhana,” “Never Not Love You,” “Love You to the Stars and Back,” “Alone/Together,” “The Achy Breaky Hearts,” and “All You Need Is Pag-ibig.”

Jadaone herself seemed just as amused, and overwhelmed, by the collection.

“Huhu wala sa aking hinagap na ’sang beses malalagay halos lahat ng mga pelikula ko sa @flypal — mula sa panganay kong ‘Six Degrees of Separation from Lilia Cuntapay’ to my latest baby ‘Sunshine,’” she shared.

The reaction from fans? Naturally, they had one more title to campaign for.

“Hala bakit walang ‘Beauty in a Bottle?’” one netizen asked.

With almost her entire filmography seemingly turning a long-haul flight into a mini Jadaone retrospective, is PAL flying passengers—or flying them straight into Direk Tonet’s cinematic universe?
