Jake Cuenca says he sees marriage in his future with Rabiya Mateo

The actor opens up about deeper intentions in their relationship, confirming they are officially a couple and revealing why Rabiya stands out from his past romances.

Actor Jake Cuenca admitted that he can already see the possibility of marrying former beauty queen Rabiya Mateo in the future as he openly talked about their blossoming relationship.

During his guest appearance on Boy Abunda’s “Fast Talk,” Jake revealed that this relationship feels more intentional and meaningful compared to his past romances.

“This is one thing that I wasn’t able to do in the relationships I had in the past. Before, I would date and be in a relationship and say, ‘Let’s see where this goes.’ I never used to date a woman with a purpose. For me, with her, I have a purpose,” he confessed.

When asked if he could already see himself marrying Rabiya someday, the actor admitted that he definitely sees that possibility.

“I can see that. I don’t want to spoil it. Ayaw kong mag salita ng gan’on, but definitely, with her, I can really see it,” he shared.

After months of dating rumors and public sightings together, Jake finally confirmed that he and Rabiya are officially a couple.

“Kami na (We’re officially together). I’m really, really proud to say it because she’s an amazing, incredible woman and very intelligent,” he said.

The actor also revealed that Rabiya had been his longtime crush even before they started dating. “She’s always been a crush of mine. Once I was able to finish my responsibilities [two TV shows], I messaged her on social media,” he recalled.

Jake shared that he officially asked Rabiya to be his girlfriend during their recent trip to Hong Kong. “We’ve been dating for three months, and then finally I asked her to be my girlfriend officially,” he shared.
