Janella Salvador shares her birthday wish and opens up about her happiness and life with Klea Pineda as “What Lies Beneath” approaches its finale.
As she marks another year older this March, actress Janella Salvador shared a simple but heartfelt birthday wish during the media conference for the finale episode of the hit “What Lies Beneath,” where she is part of the cast.
In an interview with selected members of the press, Salvador was asked what she wished for on her birthday.
“Birthday wish? Just let me live. I just wanna live,” she said with a laugh.
Her candid remark came after many of her followers noticed that the actress has been more open about her happiness, especially following numerous sightings with actress Klea Pineda.
Embracing happiness and living life
When asked if her statement was a message to everyone, Salvador replied playfully, “Para sa lahat, kasi ako happy ako ngayon.”
“I’m enjoying my life. Sana happy rin ang mga tao. Masaya ako I’m just living my life and doing my best right now. Happy ako in all aspects. That’s all I really wanted for my birthday,” she added.
Salvador also shared a few details about a recently trending photo of her with Pineda showing the two purchasing a property together.
According to the actress, the lot is located in La Union, and confirmed that they both bought the property.
“Ayoko naman mag-share ng info, but I did. We both did,” she said.
When jokingly asked what “lies beneath” the viral photos, Salvador replied with a smile, “Full of love.”
Investing in a shared future
Despite the buzz surrounding their recent property purchase, the actress chose not to comment on another viral moment where she and Pineda were spotted holding hands while walking at an airport in Cebu, a moment that quickly circulated among their supporters.
“Yes, happy heart, full of love,” she simply responded.
Salvador and Pineda previously starred together in the award-winning film “Open Endings” and have since been frequent travel and event companions, earning admiration from fans.
Pineda earlier denied that Salvador was a “third party” in her split with Katrice Kierulf, explaining that their closeness developed through work. Meanwhile, during her appearance on “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda,” Salvador remained mum about her dating life, simply saying, “I love who I love.”
With “What Lies Beneath” nearing its finale, Salvador also shared that she is open to taking on more projects, particularly independent films.
“Honestly, wala pa akong ginagawa as of the moment. Medyo inaaral ko pa ang mga offers, but hopeful meron na,” she said.
