Beloved 90s screen pair teams up again for “Mommy Guard,” set to premiere this September.

As “Julyna,” the month-long fan celebration dedicated to Jolina Magdangal, nears its end, the actress gave supporters one more reason to celebrate with the announcement of a new television project alongside longtime friend and on-screen partner Marvin Agustin.

On Wednesday, Marvin took to social media to share a playful reel confirming that he and Jolina will headline the upcoming TV5 series “Mommy Guard,” set to premiere this September.

“Malapit na ang TV series na gagawin namin. #MommyGuard this September na on TV5,” Marvin wrote in the caption.

The reel also featured Dominic Ochoa, with the three stars teasing the highly anticipated series.

“Yehey, magwo-work kami. Abangan n’yo kami soon,” Marvin said.

Jolina and Dominic followed up with, “Kailan nga?”

Keeping details under wraps, Marvin replied, “September. Ayaw muna naming sabihin ang date, pero malapit na.”

The announcement comes less than a year after Marvin and Jolina reunited on the big screen in director JP Habac’s 2025 romantic film “Ex Ex Lovers,” their first movie together in decades after building successful careers individually.

Their latest collaboration, to be directed by Roman Perez Jr., has already sparked excitement among longtime fans. Marvin and Jolina remain one of Philippine entertainment’s most beloved 1990s screen tandems, known for their chemistry in hit films such as “Labs Kita… Okey Ka Lang?” (1998), “Kung Ayaw Mo, Huwag Mo” (1998), and “Hey Babe!” (1999).
