Manon has been on hiatus since February due to health reasons.
Despite the absence of member Manon, KATSEYE carried on with a heartfelt, spirited performance at the Coachella’s Sahara stage on April 10 (April 11 Manila time)—with their Filipino leader Sophia drawing cheers from kababayans in the crowd.
Sophia, Daniela, Lara, Megan, and Yoonchae kicked things off with the live debut of their newest single, the high-energy “Pinky Up.”
They then slowed things down with “Debut,” “Mean Girls,” and “Touch.”
Surprise came through EJAE, Audrey Nuna, and Rei Ami—the voices behind the fictional group HUNTR/X from “KPop Demon Hunters”—who joined KATSEYE on stage for a laidback performance of “Golden.
Global pop’s golden hour
The group picked up the pace again with “Gameboy,” “Internet Girl,” and a dance break version of “Gabriela,” featuring a salsa- and ballroom-inspired footwork.
Emotions then ran high as the members reflected on fulfilling their Coachella dreams. Sophia, in particular, acknowledged Pinoys in the crowd, saying, “I’m overwhelmed with emotions. I see some people raising the Philippine flag.”
After pouring their hearts out, they sang “My Way”—before closing strong with the punchy “M.I.A.” and “Gnarly.”

Earlier in the day, KATSEYE’s “cousin” BINI took the Mojave stage with a packed setlist that included “Shagidi,” “Out of My Head,” “Karera,” “Salamin, Salamin,” “Blink Twice,” “Cherry on Top,” “Blush,” “Bikini,” and “Pantropiko.” Both groups are set to perform on Coachella again on April 17 (April 18 Manila time), with time slots yet to be announced.
Manon has been on hiatus since February due to health reasons. Earlier speculation about her possible Coachella appearance was later debunked.
