Fans spark debate after Enchong Dee shares old photos with former screen partner Erich Gonzales.
Ghost Month may be over soon, but Enchong Dee apparently isn’t done haunting fans with Erich Gonzales throwbacks.
The actor once again stirred nostalgia after posting photos with his former on-screen partner, captioning the set, “ghost month pa rin? ghost month relapse kit 2026.”
For longtime EnRich fans, it was another dose of the tandem’s familiar chemistry. But not everyone was in kilig mode.
Some questioned why Enchong continues to revisit the love team, especially since Erich is now married to businessman Mateo Lorenzo.
“Kasal na iyong tao at nananahimik na, at isa pa, alam ng mga taga-showbiz na never naging sila kaloka,” one commenter wrote.
Another bluntly remarked, “Nakakahiya sa asawa ni Erich.”
A third user pointed out that the throwbacks have seemingly become a recurring thing: “Hindi lang isa or dalawa eh, parang every month may entry, tapos may asawa na yung babae jusko parang disrespectful na siya.”
Enchong and Erich became one of ABS-CBN’s recognizable love teams in the 2010s, beginning with “Katorse” in 2009 and later appearing together in projects including “I Do, Once a Princess,” and “The Blood Sisters.”
But Enchong’s persistence in keeping the EnRich nostalgia alive has also sparked another theory among fans: could these posts be more than just throwbacks?
Some are speculating that his repeated promotion of their old tandem could be a hint—or even a soft trailer—for another EnRich project.
There is, however, no confirmation of a new project with Erich as of writing.
For now, Enchong appears to be enjoying the running joke. Whether fans are still waiting for another EnRich chapter—or simply asking him to let the love team rest—is another story.
