Content creator shuts down issue rumors, urges fans to support all hosts.
Social media personality Macoy Dubs has responded to online calls urging “Dogshow Divas” to permanently replace him with recurring guest host Joy Barcoma.
A Reddit post that recently gained attention praised Joy’s chemistry with co-host Baus Rufo, with the fan even suggesting she take over the podcast’s opening and become Baus’ permanent co-host.
Rather than taking offense, Macoy addressed the post with humor.
“Don’t worry sis, 1 year lang kontrata ko. Ang hirap pag absent. Sorry na,” he wrote.
Addressing the user, he acknowledged Joy’s growing popularity, adding, “More flavors, more fun. Give ko ‘yan sa’yo Redditor. Mabait ako eh.”
Macoy also dismissed any speculation of tension between him and Joy, explaining that both of them have simply been busy pursuing their respective careers.
“Natatawa kasi ako na ginagawan n’yo kami ng issue ng sissy ko, eh parehas kaming busy at inaabot ang mga bituin para sa careers namin.”
The content creator then reminded fans that genuine support should not come at someone else’s expense.
“Kung talagang supporter kayo, mag-wish ng maganda sa lahat.”
“Dogshow Divas” welcomed Joy Barcoma as a recurring guest host earlier this year following her viral appearance. Macoy has also been balancing mainstream projects, including his role as Dip in the 2026 comedy film “Drags to Riches.”
