“Wonderful Nightmare” hits No. 1, “Un-ex You” secures No. 5.
Not one but two films starring actress Kim Molina and her real-life husband Jerald Napoles have entered the Netflix Philippines Top 10.
Beyond their box-office success and praised performances in both drama and comedy, two of the couple’s projects are currently among the Top 10 Movies on Netflix Philippines as of July 17. “Wonderful Nightmare” holds the No. 1 spot, while “Un-ex You” ranks No. 5.
In a Facebook post, Kim expressed her gratitude for the overwhelming support and positive feedback from viewers, many of whom said her performance in “Wonderful Nightmare” deeply moved them.
“Maraming maraming salamat po sa lahat ng nanuod ng ‘Wonderful Nightmare.’ Ang dami niyo pong nagme-message sa akin na umiiyak po kayo hanggang ngayon,” she shared in a video.
The fantasy-comedy “Wonderful Nightmare” began streaming on Netflix on July 7.
In another video posted on social media, Kim became emotional as she read heartfelt comments from viewers who had watched the film. She said she was moved to tears while recalling how challenging it was to shoot the project.
“Wonderful Nightmare” is the Philippine adaptation of the acclaimed 2015 South Korean fantasy romantic comedy. Reimagined with Filipino heart, culture, and emotion, the film tells a story of love, destiny, and second chances, blending fantasy and romance in a way that feels both familiar and refreshingly new.
