Proud mom Matet de Leon celebrates daughter Mishka Estrada’s milestone as student-athlete graduates from UST senior high.
“Congratulations my switart!!! Finally, done with high school. Salamat UST!!!,” says a proud Matet de Leon as her eldest daughter Mishka graduates senior high school from the University of Santo Tomas (UST).
In a Facebook post, De Leon—whose daughter is with former NU basketball player Mickey Estrada—shared a photo of her firstborn after the solemn investiture for the Humanities and Social Sciences strand on June 15.
After completing junior high school at Adamson University, where she was an Adamson Lady Baby Falcon, Mishka continued to make her mark on the volleyball court at UST.
A student-athlete of the UST Junior Golden Tigresses, Mishka marked the milestone with a look back at her athletic journey in an Instagram post.
“It was hard, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. You were once the dream, and always will be a part of my story. Thank you, UST,” she wrote.
With one daughter now stepping into college and early adulthood, De Leon still has her two younger children, Icay and Mia, to guide through their own schooling.
