Dustin Yu admits feelings for Bianca de Vera, says he thinks of her even on set of ‘Almost Us’

From “Pinoy Big Brother” beginnings to “Almost Us,” Dustin opens up about proving his love—and why Bianca stays on his mind, even in romantic scenes.

Dustin Yu is not hiding nor denying his special feelings for Bianca de Vera. 

Their closeness started when they became housemates in “Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition.” The Kapamilya actor admitted that they have that mutual understanding, but until now, he’s still proving his pure intentions to Bianca.

Radar Entertainment interviewed Dustin during the recent “Almost Us” press conference where he gamely talked about his true feelings for the actress.  “Eversince naman sa PBB, nagkakaintindihan naman na kami. Masasabi ko lang, sobrang okay kami. Ang relationship namin tuloy-tuloy, at nandito ako, ‘di mawawala, para sa kanya.”

When asked about the real status of their relationship, Dustin answered that he is still in the process of proving his feelings to the young actress.

Proving love beyond the label

“Label? Nandoon pa ako sa process na talagang pinapatunayan ko sa kanya. Araw-araw, hindi ako hihinto hangga’t dumating sa panahon na tanggapin niya.”

Bianca and Dustin are both making their own niche now in the business, and for the young actor, it is neither an advantage nor a disadvantage that they are both from the same industry. “For me, kahit saan kang pumuntang relationship, mahirap din. Sa ngayon, kung ano ang tinatahak namin, for me, kahit anong challenge ang madaanan namin, pagtatrabahuhan namin ‘yon.”

Dustin is one of the cast of “Almost Us,” a romantic-comedy film led by Fyang Smith and JM Ibarra. He openly admitted that he is still thinking of Bianca while doing this movie, and this is something new for him since he got used to always working with her.
