Flag carrier also launches Chicago route in November, and boosts capacity for travel, trade, and cargo.
Philippine Airlines is adding more nonstop flights to North America as demand for travel between the Philippines and Canada and the United States continues to grow, giving passengers more options while increasing cargo capacity for businesses moving goods across the Pacific.
Beginning November and December, the flag carrier will add flights to Vancouver, Toronto, and New York, while also launching its new Manila-Chicago route in November. The expansion gives overseas Filipinos, business travelers, tourists, and exporters more opportunities to travel and move products between the Philippines and some of its biggest overseas markets.
The expansion also increases cargo capacity for trade, e-commerce, and high-value shipments while making it easier for travelers to connect through Manila to destinations across Southeast Asia and onward to more cities in the US and Canada through PAL’s partner airlines.
The additional flights are part of PAL’s broader push to grow its North American network. The airline is increasing Vancouver services from seven to 10 flights a week, while Toronto and New York will each move from three to four weekly flights.
The move comes as PAL continues to grow its long-haul network, positioning itself to capture rising demand for travel, tourism, investment, and cross-border business between the Philippines and North America.
