PUBLIC ADVISORY: CCP warns public against fake online listings offering gov’t-owned properties for sale

The state-run cultural institution categorically denied the claim, emphasizing that it has not authorized or accredited any broker, agent, or representative to negotiate or sell any portion of its properties.

“The public is hereby informed that CCP properties are government-owned assets and are NOT FOR SALE,” the advisory stated.

The agency also warned that any documents, sketch plans, or property listing titles circulating online in connection with the supposed sale are unauthorized and fraudulent.

CCP urged the public to avoid engaging with individuals or entities claiming to sell government-owned properties, warning that such transactions could be part of a scam.

It also encouraged anyone who encounters similar online listings or has been approached by individuals claiming to represent the CCP in property sales to report the matter immediately through the agency’s official channels.

Reports may be sent to the CCP’s Asset Management Office via asset.management@culturalcenter.gov.ph.

The advisory comes amid the continued proliferation of fake real estate listings on social media, where scammers use fabricated documents and misleading property advertisements to lure prospective buyers into fraudulent transactions.
