Tanya Ramos breaks out with debut single “Daweyosey,” blending Afro R&B vibes and emotional storytelling as she builds her own identity in P-pop.

Tanya Ramos, at just 19 years old, is stepping into a new chapter of her career, officially launching herself as a solo artist with her debut single, “Daweyosey.”

While many may recognize her as the daughter of veteran actor Wendell Ramos, Tanya is determined to carve out her own path and build a name based on her own passion and artistry.

Currently taking up marketing management at De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde, she continues to balance her studies with a steadily growing career in entertainment. Before pursuing music full-time, Tanya had already made her mark as an actress through various TV appearances and digital projects.

Still, music has always remained closest to her heart.

Now, she formally introduces herself through “Daweyosey,” an Afro R&B-inspired track that blends heartfelt storytelling with infectious rhythms.

“I want my music to make people feel understood, inspired, and free,” Tanya shares. “I want people to connect with the emotions behind the songs while also enjoying the music and having fun dancing to it.”

Written by Chris Domingsil and Rose Agosto and produced by Chriilz and Kiddo Chris, “Daweyosey” paints a cinematic picture of late-night memories—rainy streets, distant headlights, soft music playing on an old car radio, and the lingering weight of unanswered “what ifs.”

At its core, the song reflects a kind of love that doesn’t fully disappear, but instead learns to exist quietly in the background. It’s a familiar feeling—one that lingers long after moments have turned into memories.

The track is accompanied by a music video produced by YouMeUs, adding a visual layer to its emotional storytelling.

As she begins her journey in the P-pop scene, Tanya looks forward to performing “Daweyosey” across various venues and platforms in the coming months. She is especially excited about more intimate live performances, where she can connect with audiences on a deeper, more personal level.
