From self-identity to mothering to away-bati, these will send you on an emotional rollercoaster.
Looking for the latest OPM songs in March? radar Entertainment got you covered.
Here’s a roundup of new music from some of today’s biggest and most exciting Filipino artists. From P-pop kings SB19 to drag queen Marina Summers, from ’00s rock icon Imago to Andrea Brillantes’ alter ego RAMONA, the month’s lineup shows that OPM continues to evolve across genres—and generations.
Consider adding these songs to your playlist.
James Reid – “Traffic”
Here, James Reid offers something swabe for the driving playlist. While he laments the proverbial EDSA traffic on his way to his “Baby,” James’ smooth vocals are complemented by moody synths and pulsing beats, as if reassuring and comforting Baby—and the listeners.
As an alt-pop with a nocturnal vibe, this one’s worth the ride.
NOBITA – “Dito Ka Lang”
The heartrending ballad for the “yearners,” originally released in November 2025, gets a new level of rawness in this acoustic version. Stripped of other instruments, the lyrics—where the singer imagines growing old with his would-be lifetime partner—only become more pronounced and passionate.
“Araw-araw kitang liligawan pa rin / Habang buhay ko ring sasambitin / Kasama kang tumanda / ‘Wag kang mag-alala / Kahit pa lumabo ang mata / Ayos lang basta’t kasama ka,” it goes. Who wouldn’t make anyone get kilig overload with all of that?
RAMONA – “Gaga”
This explosive, high-energy pop-rock anthem takes aim at Marites culture that Filipinos are infamously known for. Its angst and angas materialize thanks to the gritty guitars, driving drums, and chant-ready hooks.
In a sense, it flips malicious labels against women being “pa-victim,” “ma-drama,” “iyakin,” “malandi,” “toxic,” “bobo,” “pabebe,” “sinungaling,” “pokpok,” “baliw,” and “laos”—ones that have long plagued the real-life singer—and becomes a defiant rallying, empowering cry.
LEYO – “Maging Sino Ka Man”
The Gen Z singer gives the Rey Valera classic a contemporary spin by adding airy textures, subtle percussion, and electric guitars. Still, his unassuming, malambing vocals do the original justice.
Emotional, nostalgic, and quietly powerful, the track will always be a hit, “maging sino ka man.”
Sponge Cola and Gigi de Lana – “Naghihilom”
This isn’t the collaboration we asked for, but the one we definitely need right now. The older generation will especially appreciate how their childhood and adolescent heroes teamed up for a heartfelt yet gritty rock ballad.
The song deals with how one’s heartbreak eases in time, slowly but surely. For the millennials and lower end of Gen X, they likely have their fair share of experiences that show their grit in the face of pain.
Marina Summers – “EABAB”
The catchy, anthemic song is an amalgamation of culture and identity. A Filipino trans superstar—a “RuPaul’s Drag Race: UK vs the World” contestant—delivers Noypi-laced lyrics infused with Afro-Pop percussions and a reggaeton-leaning dembow groove.
Here, the singer talks to her lover, who’s presumed to haven’t “tried” someone like her yet, “ang morenang sanay sa pakikipagharot,” and “pwedeng nagnasaan, pwedeng panggigilan” yet. It’s sassy, bonggacious, and mothering.
Clara Benin – “cinnamon coffee”
The laidback, mesmerizing song lives up to its title: something that’s soothing, comforting, and homey. Here, the singer imagines waking up the next morning with her lover, who’d “wake up to the smell of cinnamon coffee.” It reinforces the idea of a “you” being a home, a safe haven.
With gentle vocals, soft acoustic textures, and sincere lyricism, the song turns something so intimate into something so divine.
Imago – “Lagi na lang”
The bittersweet song captures a relationship’s constant away-bati phase. It reflects on whether fixing things is still worth it when the fights become repetitive and the spark fades.
Sticking to its signature brand of restrained guitars, steady drums, and emotionally grounded vocals, Imago delivers a song that’s raw, relatable, and honest. And isn’t that the kind of song that becomes immortalized in the movies, the karaoke, and the personal playlists?
SB19 and JOLIN – “Emoji”
The high-octane track features the explosive collaboration of the P-pop kings and the C-pop queen—setting the stage for OPM’s global domination.
Carrying a Brazilian Funk-inspired swag, it’s a statement anthem, especially for those who constantly put up a facade. It’s also pretty much TikTok-coded, so don’t be surprised if it goes viral soon.
