Keylyn Trajano begins her MGI All-Stars journey, expressing excitement to compete alongside fellow Filipinas while highlighting unity and sisterhood on the global stage.

Keylyn Trajano officially begins her journey to the inaugural Miss Grand International (MGI) All-Stars competition following her crowning and sashing as one of the Philippines’ representatives. The highly anticipated pageant will take place in Bangkok, Thailand, from May 18 to 30.

The global tilt conceptualized by Miss Grand International founder and president Nawat Itsaragrisil is shaping up to be a “battle royale” featuring some of the most celebrated titleholders worldwide, including married women, mothers, and transgender candidates.

Trajano joins forces with Filipina icons

During her official sashing and coronation, Trajano was asked how she feels about sharing the international stage with three other Filipina representatives: Gazini Ganados, Fuschia Anne Rivera, and Alexia Nuñez.

“I’m so excited to see them and be with them. Outside of pageantry, we are sisters. We’ve built friendships and supported each other through the years,” she said.

“Every time one of us competes, we cheer and vote for each other. So if we come together on one stage, sobrang excited ako. Alam kong ilalaban namin ang Pilipinas, at magkakapit-bisig kami.”

A trailblazer in her own right, Trajano is recognized as one of the first transwomen to compete in female-dominated pageants across Southeast Asia and the Middle East.

Filipino sisterhood combats international pressure

Trajano then recalled her experience competing at Universal Woman 2025, where she had the chance to bond with fellow Filipina, Maria Gigante.

“I was so lucky to have a sister there (Maria Gigante) She’s Filipina, and at that time, she was even more of an all-star than me because she had competed numerous times in the Philippines,” she shared.

Trajano admitted that having fellow Filipinas in the competition is a huge advantage, especially when facing the intense pressure of international pageantry.

“So to answer that question, sanay na po ako, and super excited ako. Hindi ninyo alam kung gaano kalaki ang pressure sa ibang bansa, lalo na kung wala kang kasamang kapwa Pilipino. Iba ang Pilipino mag-mahal, iba rin magtulungan,” she told reporters.

“Iba rin ang kampihan ng mga Latina, at grabe rin ang unity ng mga Europeans. Kaya iba ang pakiramdam kapag may kasama kang Pilipino,” Trajano pointed out.

Her growing list of achievements includes titles such as Universal Woman Arabia 2025, Universal Woman International 2025 (Top 12), Universal Woman Photogenic 2025, and Universal Voice 2025.

Representing her pageant camp during the event was respected queenmaker Arnold Vegafria, national director of Miss World Philippines and president of ALV Pageant Circle, who expressed full confidence and support for Trajano as the newest addition to his roster of queens.
